We were having dinner and games in your house on Carrolton Ave. in New Orleans. Justin was just a baby, crawling all over the floor. It was only the second time I had made the pie, and I put way too much topping on. Yep, it spilled over. And caught on fire. And you tried (and succeeded) to make me feel better by saying that your house had a lovely cinnamon sugar smell for a long time after that.

I did the exact same thing the second time I made it too. Then my own house smelled good (with a hint of burnt sugar.)

So, use less crumb topping. We don't need all that sugar anyway, right!?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11156571682372458133noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7256531175166835417.post-39442404801861799042011-02-16T14:38:35.573-08:002011-02-16T14:38:35.573-08:00You are so funny. I am going to try the recipe...Gluten free of course!Joellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17620381451552836069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7256531175166835417.post-72983836453754228922011-02-16T13:34:11.049-08:002011-02-16T13:34:11.049-08:00You two are cute! I'm glad you tried out the rainbow pancakes. I plan to do them for Saint Patricks Day :)Laura Dunford https://www.blogger.com/profile/16148531364905059338noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7256531175166835417.post-81436602454775905612011-02-16T07:42:32.086-08:002011-02-16T07:42:32.086-08:00I should make pie.
