What Expats do on Independence Day

I know you're wondering what American citizens who live in another country do on the Fourth of July.
Sparklers were the best we could do for fireworks.

We get together with other Americans (even the little ones.)
The youngest American was only a few weeks old!

Sing a heart-warming rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner."
Becky's awesome edible flag.

Drink A&W root beer,  and other American food:  apple pie (real Crisco in the crust), corn bread, hot dogs (NOT sausages), and salsa.
Thanks Family Fun Magazine for the idea.
Emily made and decorated cookies, all by herself.
And let our colors show.

Happy Fourth of July!

I actually was wondering how you would celebrate, thanks for the update:) I agree with Kim your food was much more cuter/patriotic than mine.
